Looking for a special adopter for Bella and Max to have a home together
These two Shih Tzus are about 14 years old and came into foster when their owner passed away.
They both have some limited vision and hearing and not many teeth. They eat a mix of soft kibble and wet food and love soft treats.
They are house broken, used to live with a cat and have been said to be fine with dogs. Okay around slow-moving kids, manageable on a leash (need harnesses) and good in the car. They sleep a lot, but are surprisingly spry!
Both dogs have heart murmurs. Max requires 2x daily heart medication, Bella needs 2x daily eye ointment for an ulcer.
Bella (12 lbs) is quiet and cuddly. Loves exploring the fenced in yard and having her ears scratched, dislikes being carried.
Max (9 lbs) is sassy and funny, likes guarding toys and romping in the yard. Not a constant barker but will talk to you if food is too slow to arrive, and will scream non-stop if you crate him.
They sleep through the night (and most of the day), enjoy short walks and are generally easy and fun to have around! They need someone who can help them on stairs and the furniture. They have zero recall, must be in a fenced in yard or on a leash when outside.

Maude 2 yr old female Labrador Retriever mix 56 lbs. Housebroken and crate trained, she knows basic commands, is good with dogs with proper intro, has not been around cats or small kids while in our care. Maude loves to cuddle, chase the ball, go for walks and gnaw on hard chew toys.
